Whole-Home Rewiring You Can Rely On

Older Florida homes often hide wiring that was fine in its day but is not safe now: cloth-insulated wire, aluminum branch circuits, ungrounded outlets, or a tangle of additions made over the years. Flickering lights, warm outlets, and breakers that trip for no clear reason are all warning signs. Faulty wiring is one of the leading causes of house fires, so it is not something to put off.

We rewire homes fully or in sections, track down and fix complex faults, replace aluminum and knob-and-tube wiring, and bring everything up to current code. We work to keep the disruption and the drywall damage down, and a Florida State Certified Master Electrician oversees the whole job.

Whole-Home Rewiring FAQs

How do I know if my home needs rewiring?

Common signs are frequent breaker trips, flickering or dimming lights, warm or discolored outlets, a burning smell, two-prong ungrounded outlets, or a home over about 40 years old that has never been updated. We can inspect it and tell you honestly what needs attention.

Do I have to move out during a rewire?

Usually not. We can often work in sections and keep power to part of the home while we rewire the rest. We lay out the plan and the schedule up front so you know what to expect.

Will rewiring tear up my walls?

We keep it to a minimum. We fish wiring through existing walls and ceilings wherever we can and make small, neat access cuts only where needed, so there is far less patching than most people expect.
