EV Charger Installation You Can Rely On

Charging off a standard wall outlet is painfully slow, and running an extension cord out to the garage is asking for trouble. A proper Level 2 (240V) charging station fills your battery overnight on its own dedicated circuit, the way it is meant to be wired.

We install chargers for Tesla, ChargePoint, Emporia, and every other major brand, plus universal NEMA 14-50 outlets if you would rather plug in. First we confirm your panel has the capacity, then we run the dedicated circuit, mount and test the unit, and pull the permit and inspection. Most installs are finished in a single visit.

EV Charger Installation FAQs

How much does it cost to install an EV charger?

Most home Level 2 installs run from about $600 to $1,800, depending on how far the charger is from your panel and whether the panel has spare capacity. A long conduit run or a needed panel upgrade adds to that. We quote it firm after a quick look.

Can my panel handle an EV charger?

Often yes, but not always. A Level 2 charger is a large continuous load, so we check your panel capacity first. If there is no room, we will tell you straight whether a subpanel or a service upgrade is the better path.

Does an EV charger install need a permit?

Yes. A hardwired charger or a new 240V circuit needs a permit and inspection. We pull it and handle the inspection so the install is safe and to code.
