Hotel & Hospitality Cabling
Structured cabling, fiber, and low-voltage systems for hotels across Tampa Bay, installed clean, tested, and documented by a contractor whose roots go back to 1997 in low-voltage.
The Backbone Behind a Great Guest Experience
Guest Wi-Fi, the property management system, IPTV, phones, point-of-sale, security cameras, door access. All of it rides on one thing: the low-voltage cabling behind the walls. When that cabling is done right, none of it becomes a problem. When it is done poorly, it turns into a steady stream of guest complaints and downtime.
We started in 1997 as Ortel Technologies, a structured-cabling and security company, before we grew into a full-service electrical contractor, so hospitality cabling is our original trade. We install Cat6 and Cat6A, fiber risers, guest-room drops, Wi-Fi access-point cabling, CCTV, and access control, all terminated to TIA/EIA standards, tested, labeled, and documented, for hotels and hospitality properties throughout Tampa Bay.
Hotel Cabling & Low-Voltage Services
Structured Cabling (Cat6 / Cat6A)
Full structured cabling for guest rooms, offices, and common areas. Every drop is clean, labeled, and tested so the network can handle what a busy property throws at it.
Fiber Backbone & Risers
Single-mode and multi-mode fiber backbones and riser cabling that tie your IDFs back to the main equipment room across every floor and building.
Guest-Room Low-Voltage
Data, phone, IPTV, and smart-room cabling for guest rooms and suites, installed the same way on every floor so it is predictable and easy to service.
Wi-Fi & Access Point Cabling
PoE-ready cabling placed where the access points actually need to go, so guests get a solid signal in rooms, lobbies, meeting space, and out by the pool.
CCTV, Access Control & IPTV
Low-voltage cabling for cameras, door access, IPTV, and AV. These are the systems that keep a property secure and running, so we install them to last.
MDF / IDF Build-Outs
Equipment rooms, racks, patch panels, and cable management, built and documented so your IT team and your ISP walk into something organized instead of a mess.

Hotel Cabling FAQs
What is hotel structured cabling?
It is the organized, standards-based low-voltage backbone that carries data, phone, TV, Wi-Fi, and security signals through a property. That means Cat6 or Cat6A drops to rooms and access points, fiber risers between floors, and a documented MDF and IDF with patch panels.
Can you cable a hotel while it stays open?
Yes. Most hospitality cabling happens in buildings that stay open. We phase the work floor by floor, schedule the disruptive parts around occupancy, keep the work areas clean and secure, and protect the guest experience throughout.
Do you do new construction and retrofits?
Both. We design and rough-in cabling for new builds and build-outs with the other trades, and we re-cable, expand, and document existing properties, including cleaning up work a previous contractor left behind.
Are you qualified for low-voltage work?
We began in 1997 as Ortel Technologies, a structured-cabling and security company, and we are a licensed, insured electrical contractor (FL EC13007492). Low-voltage cabling is our original trade.
